The Shoulders

It is very important that you warm up before you begin any exercise.  The PASSIVE YOGA WARM-UPS are an excellent way to get the major muscles and joints moving and open. 

During Hatha routines it is important to use the rest and recovery poses, POSE OF THE CHILD and POSE OF THE RESTING CHILD, to prevent from becoming fatigued.  Use them as often as your body needs.

Shoulder Pulls

Pull shoulders up tight to the ears

Then pull shoulders down driving the hands into the floor.

        When pulling down, keep shoulder back
